Funky little cafe/takeaway serving big flavours in traditional dishes like feijoada (red beans and pork, the Portuguese equivalent of bangers and mash), chicken piri piri and the admirably self-explanatory peas, bacon, chorizo and eggs.
Other offerings include beef stew with rice and potatoes, chickpeas with pork and rice, and cod with cream and potatoes). There’s also a daily vegetarian soup. Menu fixture pastel de nata is a pastry custard tart made with cream and eggs, with around 300 sold weekly.
